What we use
We use strictly necessary storage so the product can sign you in and keep an unsaved design while you create an account. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or marketing cookies. Because we do not set anything optional, we do not show a cookie banner.
| Storage | Who sets it | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
Sign-in cookies, including a session cookie named __session and related Clerk cookies on this site. |
Clerk, when you open Log in or Sign up, and while you are signed in. | Keep you signed in and protect the session. The app does not work without them. | For the session, or as long as Clerk needs to keep you signed in on that browser. Signing out clears the session. |
Session storage key im-draft. |
BrandTimer, in the browser, only if you start a timer and then go to sign up. | Hold the unsaved design until the account exists. It is not sent to us until you save. | Until you save, or until you close the tab session. We do not set a lasting cookie for this. |
Why this does not need consent
Under the Polish Electronic Communications Law and the ePrivacy rules, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for does not need consent. Sign-in is that kind of storage. The draft exists only so the editor you were using survives account creation.
Timer images
The GIF in an email is an image request, not a cookie we set in the recipient’s mailbox. We describe what that request involves in the Privacy Policy.
Your choices
You can block cookies in the browser. If you block the sign-in cookies, you can still read the site and use the editor, and you cannot stay signed in. You can delete site data for BrandTimer in the browser at any time.
If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask first, and we will update this notice.
